Wedding Hair and Make-up
This Wedding hair and make-up course is a short yet comprehensive academic and practical study of Bridal hairstyling and basic make-up techniques. This course will give you the knowledge and confidence to advertise yourself as a Bridal hair stylist. This course is for qualified hairdressers or make-up artists wishing to become skilled in the art of Bridal hair styling. However no formal qualifications are necessary
You will study with us for five days and you are advised to wear comfortable clothes and flat shoes although it is not essential.
Entry requirements
A level 2 certificate in hairdressing is advised but not essential
Your course includes:
- The academic and practical study of the wedding hair styling.
- You will learn the importance of recognizing contraindications.
- Preparation of the work area.
- Your experienced tutor will advise you of: using rollers, blow drying, wedding styles
- Health and safety and using the tools of the trade
- Making the style last (a must for the bridal stylist)
- You will have the opportunity to practice different looks.
- Face shapes and looks.
- Make-up for Brides
- Assessments
- You will be given a full course folder included in this five day course to refer to as you practice.
- You will receive an Aqua Rosa certificate.
